            Bug ID: 144652
Summary: File change not detected in spreadsheet program
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.2.0.4 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:

The files loaded are all .csv files with colon, ':', delimiters with ASCII data
and without embedded quotes or ':'.

[1] LO spreadsheet program (.ods) does not detect when a loaded file has
changed. LOG text program (.odt) does.
[2] If a spreadheet file is loaded, reloading it in a command shell does not
work.
[2] In order to reload a changed spreadsheet file, the file must be terminated
in LO and then a command shell reload will bring in updated data.

Can this be changed so that changed files cause a prompt for a reload?

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Load a .csv file.
2.Change the file externally (outside of LO)
3.

Actual Results:
File change not recognized.

Expected Results:
File change recognized and the user prompted to accept the changes.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]

[Information guessed from browser]

OS is 64bit: no
