Priority: medium
Bug ID: 61194
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: suggestion: Improving access to ODF compatibility mode
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: unspecified
Component: Libreoffice
Product: LibreOffice
By this I mean to save documents in ODF strict standard (and now supports
Office 2013).
Since Office 2010 natively supports the ODF format (1.1) and now with Office
2013 the ODF format (1.2). However, although it seems very good news, not so
much as by default in LibreOffice, always prioritizes formats a little more
technically advanced (extended ODF). While improvements are always welcome,
plays against interoperability between files of the same format between Office
and LibreOffice. There is a way to make the change, but it seems somewhat
cumbersome for new users who simply want to edit your files.
I suggest that this feature is improved, perhaps adding new entries to the
window "save as" ... something.
ODF presentation (.odp compat MS Office 2010)
ODF presentation (.odp compat MS Office 2013)
thanks
