Rainer Bielefeld <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attachment #75132|0 |1 is obsolete| | --- Comment #6 from Rainer Bielefeld <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 75227 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=75227&action=edit Simple Sample I tried to find out what reporter's problem might be, I believe I've got it. My test with "LibreOffice 3.6.5.2 " German UI/ German Locale [Build-ID: 5b93205] {pull date 2013-01-18} on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) 0. Launch LibO 1. Open Sample Document from LibO Start center 2. With menu 'Format -> Conditional Formatting -> Manage' check CF: > Only in A3 (as you see: 'Style "Heading" if Cell contents = "1"' 3. Select A3:A6 > Becomes Highlighted 4. Menu 'Format -> CF -> Condition...' > Dialog "CF for A3" opens, shows 'Style "Heading" if Cell contents = "1"' 5. <OK> Reporter's expectation: CF spread from A3 to A1:A6 Actual: Nothing happens Being used to the old dialog expectation (where the Dialog in step 4 is named "CF", not "CF for cell ...") can be understood that user might expect that the CF will be spread. But in the current dialog in step 4 only is for Cell A3, nothing else. I obsolete original sample because it's too worrying. It seems if the first cell in a range has CF, the validity of the 'CF -> Condition...' will be limited to that cell. If in step 3 you select A2:A6 (or do the test for C3:C6) A CF dialog for range and not for single cell will open. The problem is solved in an intuitive way in 4.0, where we have a new 'Range' pane at the bottom of the Dialog. So I currently see this Bug as 'WFM target:4.0.0' -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
