This can be reproduced within LO between Calc and Writer, and is a bug specific to the kind of paste used: - the default between Calc and Writer is now RTF paste (it was changed after this bug was opened, in 6.4, see bug 116685), - there's also HTML paste, this is the default when pasting into Word. While pasting in HTML/RTF in Word/Writer looks slightly different compared from one another, the background shows the same issue. Note that something changed between 6.0 and 6.1, previously when pasting the B14:F18 range from attachment 147289, only E17 had orange background, while since 6.1 E14:F17 _except_ E17 has orange background.
