--- Comment #3 from Lucile <lucile.dolb...@remedygames.com> ---
    1. Open a new Writer document
    2. Insert a comment (from the tool bar, or using Crtl+alt+C)
    3. Observe the comment section as a yellow background
    4. Try to change the background color
    5. Notice it is not possible
    6. Write a comment in the section using yellow Font color
    7. Notice the Comment is not readable

I have managed to reproduce the issue, following the repro steps above.

Version: 7.2.1.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 87b77fad49947c1441b67c559c339af8f3517e22
CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

After adding a comment section I did notice the background was yellow and it
was not possible to change that color. I tried writing in the comment section
with several Color font, and some were completely unreadable ( yellow, orange ,
light Grey …) I attempted similar test using dark backgrounds and font colors.
getting similar results.

Despite the color, the contrast of it is a potential accessibility issue.
The pale yellow background color is difficult to see properly on a white
background.
White is already light, so adding light-colored background such as yellow on a
white background is going to create readability issues.
You can find further information about readability and color accessibility here

This is a design issue that could become an accessibility issue as well
As mentioned in the initial bug report this can produce undesirable situations
for the user.
Whether if it is related to contrast, dark background and color font, or color
blindness, this issue could force the user to change their initial background
and font colors choices.

This could be extremely detrimental for users with impaired vision.
Or for example user with Blue yellow/ tritanopia color blindness

The Word competitor product does offer this feature.
