Before your step 2, can you verify this is done (language could be anything, but let's standardise on English (USA)): 1. Tools - Language - For all text: English (USA) 2. In your own step 2, make sure that "Replacements and exceptions for language" points to English (USA) Because it works fine for me. The apostrophe issue described in comment 7 is in line with bug 35515, which is superficially about periods in email addressed. So as explained in bug 35515 comment 3, words with apostrophes capitalise only when they are the first one on a page or if they are not in the first sentence of a paragraph.
