Bug ID: 145637
Summary: LibreOffice Writer 'Master Doc' Feature never keeps
the very same formatting of sub-files into the master
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.2.2.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
As described in the summary, the Master Doc Feature in LibreOffice Writer
doesn't work well; it seems to ignore the pages and paragraphs spacing
formatting set in each sub-files, which result in different distribution of the
text along the whole document, and demands to review all diagramming... In case
sub-files have inserted images, their position are quite subject to get
altered, especially with images inserted at the end of the sub-file, resulting
on more mess along the final document...
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a Master Doc
2. Attach link to Sub-files...
Actual Results:
As described, the Master doc diagramming results altered due to changes in
spacing formatting of pages and paragraphs at different point of the document,
especially in case of inserted images.
Expected Results:
The Master Doc should keep formatting of each section as originally set at the
respective sub-file,
Reproducible: Always
