          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 61374
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: Calc freezes when pasting excel rows as GDI
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.0.3 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

1. Select a few rows in Excel (I had v. 2010), copy them
2. Open a new spreadsheet in Calc
3. select paste special
4. press ok (the first/default option is GDI metafile)
5. Calc freezes/crashes.

In addition to crashbug, there are a few usability faults:
 1) WTF is a GDI metafile? Is it really a term that end users might be expected
to know, as I've never heard of it despite being a win/office poweruser since
win 3.11 times;
 2) If excel data is copied to clipboard, maybe a better default value (say,
'unformatted unicode text') should be selected in the 'paste special' box?

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.0.0.3 release
