            Bug ID: 146023
Summary: Context menus in Formula Bar and in cell's own Edit
mode should be unified (as much as possible)
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Keywords: needsUXEval
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

In Calc's cells, right-clicking inside the cell (in Cell's Edit mode; when
there's no spellcheck errors) brings a context menu with:

 Cut
 Copy
 Paste
 --
 Special Character...
 Insert Field >
 --
 Synonyms >
 --
 Clear Direct Formatting
 Character...

Right-clicking on e.g. hyperlink inside such cell gives additionally "Open/Edit
Hyperlink/Edit Hyperlink Location/Remove Hyperlink" related items.

OTOH, right-clicking on text in Calc's Formula Bar gives:

 Cut
 Copy
 Paste
 --
 Select All
 Special Character...

and right-clicking on fields does not add any related items.

There doesn't seem to be a reason for such a difference; all items (both
missing in cell's context menu, and in Formula Bar's one) are relevant in all
contexts; additionally, the ones that have accelerators (e.g., Ctrl+; to insert
date, or Ctrl+Shift+Space to select all) work in both areas.

So the proposal is to unify the context menus as much as possible (as far as I
can see, it should be unified completely, but *if* there's a command not
suitable for one of the areas, e.g. appearing in some context that I didn't
test, the rest should be still unified).
