--- Comment #2 from Dennis Rice <[email protected]> --- I have a modified cliché, Intuitive obvious to the most casual observer – when you are intimately familiar with the subject. To put it simple, my English skills are absolutely the greatest and I need every bit of help I can get, certainly when I don’t know when I’m screwing up. I have seen “Grammarly” working when I have typed a response on a web page as an underlining of some text, so I know that I needed to make corrections. Would appreciate any guidance / improvements that can be made as I need all the help I can get. Appreciate all that all of those working on LibreOffice are doing and I really like using it. Per: LadyFitzgerald Oct '17 Click on Tools, Options, Language Settings Writing Aids. Check to make sure Lightproof grammar checker (English) in the top box is checked, then make sure Check Grammar as You Type is checked in the box at the bottom called Options. The click on English Sentence Checking back under Language Settings and check what you want to be checked under Grammar checking. I have followed the instructions to insure that Lightproof was (previously) installed and made sure that the “Grammar checking was properly checked. I have seen another posting that showed that when the Tools was highlighted, that the top line showed “Spelling and Grammar”, this does not appear on my version (7.2.2.2).
