Actually I'm going to go ahead and mark this as a duplicate of Bug 143098:
- The sidebar does show style previews following the dark theme, so I now see
what you mean. The tabbed UI's style preview could do the same thing for visual
consistency. That's what that other bug is about.
- The grey font issue is also mentioned there.
