I think only selected cells should be copied by default. Additionally, I've checked Excel. Excel behaves the same for steps 1-6. Only the selected cells are copied. > Me always expected the "skip empty cells" to have this result. "skip empty cells" is used for excluding copying formats of empty cells or similar.
