I don't understand the problem. If the character is the beginning of a new word
it's the normal behaviour that new word start in second line, if it doesn't fit
in first line (happens with every character). If the character with tilde is
part of the previous word, the whole word jumps into the second line, if it
doesn't fit with first line. So please explain the problem.
