            Bug ID: 146846
Summary: Editing in a word-wrapped cell in Calc leaves stray
                    characters
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
In Calc, when I edit text in a word-wrapped cell and delete a few trailing
lines, the lines do not disappear. They only disappear once I clock on another
cell.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Format cells with word wrapping
2. type in the cell (not in the formula bar) text that wraps across several
lines
3. Select, say, the last line or lines.
4. Hit the Delete button.

Actual Results:
The selected text stays in the display. It on ly disappears when I click on
another cell. Note that the text vanishes from the formula bar (as it should)

Expected Results:
The selected text should disappear upon hitting the delete key.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I only observed it in LO 7.2.5.2, but it may have shown up earlier; I cannot
check that anymore. Note that, while seemingly minor, it is actually annoying
and prevents editing the cell further, one has to leave the cell first and then
go back into the cell. So I call this bug "normal" rather than minor or
cosmetic.

Toi the boxes below: I do not use a user profile, and checking for OpenGL seems
complicated on a Mac, involving downloading software, so I did not do that. It
is whatever the system does by default.
