Thank you very much for your bug report.

I have checked it, but unfortunately I could not reproduce it with a new
hourglass with LO 4.0.0.3 (Win7 Home, 64bit).

I inserted an hourglass and then I selected the SPIN IN effect from the dialoge
box CUSTOM ANIMATION (from the TASK PANE / menu VIEW). The hourglass spins now
around its central axis. Then I saved it, closed it and reopened it and it
still spins around its central axis.
Have these steps also been your steps to reproduce it, because I am not sure,
that this SPIN IN effect was also your chosen effect, because if I check the
animation effect of your hourglass it shows FADE IN, which I cannot comprehend?

But then I experienced a strang behavior. I can confirm that the hourglass in
your presentation spins around one of its corners. I copied my new hourglass
directly on this slide and it spins correctly around its axis while your
hourglass spins around one of its corners. Then I double-clicked my new
hourglass and inserted a letter in its text field. Afterwards, I started the
presentation again and now also your hourglass spins correctly around its axis.
Therefore, I marked this bug as NEW.

Can anybody else confirm / reproduce this?
