(In reply to Dieter from comment #4)

It's still the same with Version: 7.3.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 0f246aa12d0eee4a0f7adcefbf7c878fc2238db3
CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

For a test, compare these two lines:

aU+0304
аU+0304

The first uses ASCII 'a', while the second uses Cyrillic 'а', which looks
identically, but is a different character. Putting the cursor after U+0304, and
pressing Alt+X, converts the code into the combining character, which is placed
differently in these two cases.

But the same problem may sometimes be with Latin 'a' - I haven't identified the
specifics, but maybe it's some different formatting attribute applied to 'a'
compared to the following combining character.
