Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)

=================
Following the instruction below "To be certain the reported issue is not
related to corruption in the user profile", I started in safe mode.
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile
said to use this command:
$ libreoffice --safe-mode
bash: libreoffice: command not found
This worked:
$ libreoffice7.3 --safe-mode
All 3 scenarios still crash LO.
The above page says:
Select Continue in Safe Mode
Test and see if the problem is gone.
If the problem persists, you can exit the safe mode because the user
profile was not the cause of the problem.
==========
Regarding OpenGL - I followed the instructions at
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/OpenGL#How_to_enable.2Fdisable_OpenGL
and there was no mention there of OpenGL, so I do not know if it is active or
not. (Sorry, I don't even know what it is)
Actual Results:
LO crashes.
Expected Results:
I expected Calc to open the existing file (in steps 1 or 2 above), or open a
new empty spreadsheet (step 3)
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
