My idea in comment 5 to make a raster graphic like PNG the default in all modules was supported. But others recommend to use PDF as standard with the idea that Export As (> PDF | EPUB) is just a shortcut to the filter in Export and not listing them would make them special and different. So we are split in what exactly the solution should be.
