Priority: medium
Bug ID: 61815
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: SUM() function does not include indirect values
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: unspecified
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
I have a column (G) of values of numbers and formulae:
1 =H91-90
2 =Taxes.H6
3 0
4 =H111
At the end I want the sum so enter
5 =SUM(G1:G4)
It returns the value of the first cell only, not the sum of the four cells.
+ Deleting the second cell entry does not allow the rest to be included, so it
is not an issue with referencing a different tab
+ Actually typing in the values instead of their indirect (=xxx) reference
allows SUM() to correctly calculate the sum. So it must have something to do
with the indirect referencing
+ Moving or copying the lot to another part of the spreadsheet does not change
this behaviour.
+ Summing them manually (=G1+G2+G3+G4) does work correctly. So there is nothing
wrong with the actual cell values themselves.
This is a rather large workbook (14 tabs), perhaps that is an issue?
Thanks in advance.
