--- Comment #11 from David Burleigh <[email protected]> --- No, it does not solve my problem. I have a master document containing linked subdocuments, and I have a concordance file of almost 4000 significant words that I want to include in an index at the end of the book. So I go to the end of the book and insert an alphabetical index, specifying 2 columns with a small gap between them, and select the concordance file. After several minutes pass (the book is over 300 pages) the index appears with only one column. Then I have to edit the index and again specify 2 columns, and regenerate the index. Then several more minutes pass and the index appears with 2 columns. Having to generate such indexes twice for each master document is a bit tedious, but I can live with it. LibreOffice is an amazing application and I am very thankful that it works as well as it does. It's my principle tool as a writer/editor, which I've been using for the past 15 years since I abandoned the Microsoft world. I appreciate the labors of all who continue to develop it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
