Steps:
Create new Calc files, e.g. 3x3, insert a few (distinctive) numbers (or
letters), save and close.
Create new Writer file, insert a few blank lines
Link the Calc file as OLE object into the Writer document via:
+ Menu->Insert->Object->OLE-Object...
+ "Create from file"
+ select the newly created Calc file via ->Search
+ Tick with "Link to file".
+ OK
and save
Change a value in the table in Calc, and save it
Switch to the Writer window
Update table in Writer document, Menu->Tools->Update->Update All
or
Go to Menu->Edit->Link to External Files, select appropriate link and then
click Update.
The numbers in the table in the Writer document are not updated
