Anyway, this is not a LibreOffice setting; LibreOffice should use a system setting, and it indeed does that at least on Windows (see https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/text-cursor-appearance-settings/28936/2). If it doesn't follow the corresponding OS setting, this would be a bug. So please: 1. Describe your operating system; 2. Provide LibreOffice information (setting version in the bug metadata is not enough; please copy and paste the full information from menu Help->About LibreOffice); 3. Provide the way you checked your relevant system setting, and a screenshot of the setting, and the visual appearance of text cursor in LibreOffice, which would show that it's inconsistent.
