I did look at this Insert -> Picture -> From File feature in 4.0.0.3. I see that the lower left hand corner has the option to check "Link". I can see how, if you're needing to insert a lot of images this way over a short span of time, it would help if it defaulted to those settings. Or perhaps there could be an option to "Remember these settings". I will set the status of this to NEW, and prioritize as an Enhancement. Thank you for the feedback!
