            Bug ID: 147824
Summary: PDF export no fat text on different fonts
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.3.1.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When having the OpenSans font installed into the system font store, exporting
documents to pdf result into fat text being displayed as normal text.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download font: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Open+Sans
2. Install font (OpenSans-VariableFont_wdth,wght.ttf,
OpenSans-Italic-VariableFont_wdth,wght.ttf) with a double klick
3. Create Document with OpenSans font and "fat" text
4. Export to PDF

Actual Results:
The PDF will be exported without any fat text.

Expected Results:
The fat text will look the same as it does in the editor

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I found a workaround by embedding the font into the document and opening that
in a VM that does not have that font installed. Then you can properly export it
as pdf.
