          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 61904
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: VIEWING: Enhancement request: make size of notes area
                    configurable in presenter mode
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.0.3 release
         Component: Presentation
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:
I'm frequently using presentations that contain notes and view them in the
presentation mode on my laptop while showing slides only to the audience.
However, my notes are usually short, just a view keywords so that there is a
lot of free space in the notes area. On the other hand the current slide is
rather small and text is barely readable, especially on my 13 inch laptop.
In the view without notes there is a free space in the lower right corner
underneath the minature of the upcoming slide. This would be the ideal place to
show the notes, but Impress doesn't allow me to scale the area for notes, only
the text size. PowerPoint lets you configure how you want to divide the
available space into slide view and notes area.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a presentation which contains notes
2. connect an external monitor or beamer in extended desktop mode (not clone)
3. start presentation (F5)
4. switch to: notes / annotations

Current behavior:
large area is reserved for notes which is not configurable

Expected behavior:
space division between current slide, upcoming slide and notes can be
configured completely or there is at least an option to use the blank space on
the lower right corner in presentation mode without notes to display notes.
(I'm going to attach screenshots if I figure out how. That's a missing option
in the bug submission assistant).

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.0.0.3 release
