This can be done with the following command: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme Breeze-Dark A similar thing can be done to switch to light theme: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme Breeze Note that you need to have the breeze theme installed for these commands to work.
