Picture showing the incorrect functioning of the check updates panel

(I am aware of bug 50421, and it says it's resolved in 7.2.3, but I updated
LibreOffice today to 7.2.5 and the issue is still there.)

Immediately after updating LibreOffice on Windows 10 and macOS Monterey
(Intel), when 'Check for updates' is clicked in the menu, the update checker
panel displays what appears to be inactive controls and is non-functional.

"Checking..." is displayed with a caret in front of it, the progress wheel
displays but isn't animated, an empty progress bar is displayed along with "0%"
with a field that overlaps the 'Resume' button. (See screenshot attached to
this bug)
