            Bug ID: 148134
Summary: Does Libreoffice has any porting plans to support
                    RISC-V?
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Hello Libreoffice developers,

I'd like to port Libreoffice to the RISC-V platform for Linux, but so far it
doesn't seem to have any targeted adaptations for this architecture.

RISC-V is an open standard instruction set architecture, which is under rapid
development. Distributions including AOSP, Arch Linux, Debian, Gentoo Linux,
Fedora, OpenEuler, etc are also actively doing porting work for this
architecture.

As a leader in office products among open source tools, is there any porting
plans for RISC-V?

I sincerely hope that the Libreoffice team will start thinking about supporting
this architecture. I'll start working on this anyway and would like to keep
this bug as a tracker.
