--- Comment #2 from [email protected] --- Win7 64. More info - I went through the rest of the LibreOffice suite and it happens in each application. If I select any text and choose a color from the color drop-down chart, the color does not change. If I choose the color first and get the little paint can icon to drag across the text, it does not change the font color either. This was the case with Ver 3.6 and in the new version 4.0. Thank you very much for looking into this. It was suggested in the LibeOffice forum that I send in a bug report, and here we are.
