I have reasonably challenged the explanation given for that change, and provided a simple means for testing it's veracity. It is now claimed (a MERE 21 DAYS later) that it's "old and no longer supported, so its status is irrelevant". If that is true now, it would have been true 21 days ago also. So what is the reasoning for this change? This exercise in bug tracking should be, and mostly is, about process.
