Bug ID: 148243
Summary: Regression: Autocorrect replace bullets with no longer
works
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.4.0.0 alpha0+ Master
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
I use a lot of bullets, and find being able to type * for a bullet essential.
Recently, the autocorrect has stopped working on daily builds.
Expected behaviour:
* Turn the option to replace bullets with on in Autocorrect options. (Actually,
I would expect this to default on, but it doesn't!)
* Type a line starting with and asterisk - eg: "* This is a test"
* Upon pressing enter, the line should convert to an unordered list item.
(Actually, I would expect this to autocorrect before pressing enter, as happens
in MSO)
Actual behaviour:
* The line is left unchanged when pressing enter.
