--- Comment #19 from Julien Nabet <[email protected]> ---
Ant: I noticed some .bak in your list, it could be interesting you remove/put
it aside and test again. I don't think that's the solution but at least, it's
quick and easy to test.

Give a try to 4.0.1, you may be lucky! :-)

Then I propose you several steps:
1) do the same list (alphabetical would be sufficient) on the Windows machine
OK
2) compare the 2 alphabetical lists and put aside every font in KO machine in
order to have no font which would be present in machine KO and which wouldn't
present in machine OK.
Perhaps in Algo it would be clearer:
foreach font in machineKO
   if font.exists(machineKO) and (!font.exists(machineOK))
      machineKO.putaside_or_remove(font)
3) try to reproduce the crash

2 possibilities:
a) you still reproduce the problem => it's not a font problem (or I missed
something :-))
b) you don't reproduce the problem => at least 1 font triggers the problem
Search it/them with dichotomic method (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_search_algorithm)
