Rather than using an arbitrary hard-coded color for the dialog we should prefer
the system theme, which should also fit with what was used to generate
thumbnails in most cases. 

Suggestion is to not redraw thumbnails (on what basis?). Could imagine making
this a DUP to bug 99116 but in the end it's another aspect: "Make sure
thumnails are readable".
