Bug ID: 148582
Summary: Report Text Box Parameter "Auto Grow" Automatically
Changes to "No" After Saving the Document
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.3.2.2 release
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When I set the description and comment text boxes for a report in the database,
I found that the "Auto Grow" parameter can only be temporarily set to "Yes",
and this parameter is automatically set to "No" immediately after saving the
document, causing the long text to be cropped and not displayed as expected.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Enter a long text in the corresponding text box that it can be full in it;
2) Set "Auto Growth" of the corresponding text box to "Yes" in the
corresponding report editing interface;
3) Save the document (maybe this step can be omitted);
4) Close the report editing interface;
5) Open the preview or view the text box "Auto Grow" status.
Actual Results:
Long text appears only within the text box set size and the text is cropped.
Check the corresponding text box settings and found the "Auto Grow" parameter
displayed as No.
Expected Results:
The height of the text box automatically becomes longer, the text is not
cropped, the "Auto Grow" parameter is not automatically set to be "No" either.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
