I confirm,
This happens also if you use a named range (Insert > Names > Define) or enter a
cell range (like A1:A2)
Tested with:
Version 4.0.1.2 (Build ID: 84102822e3d61eb989ddd325abf1ac077904985)

Notice that usually I found the crash when using this command for the 2nd time

The crash is still there on the master correcting the bug 58630:
