In one paper book the length of the separator line on the first page is about
25% of width.
And on the next page, the length of the separator line is about 90% of width.

Thus, we see that the length of the separator line when continuing the footnote
on a new page is different!

Sometimes it is the same length as on the first page.
Sometimes it is the whole page.
Sometimes it is not the whole page, but more than on the first page.
