--- Comment #3 from Adalbert Hanßen <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Dieter from comment #2) > Adalbert, thank you for the report. I can see the amount of work, reporting > this bug. But to be honest, I don't want to read a bug report like an > article, but just have a set of steps to reproduce and I can't find it in > your report. perhaps if i read it very carefully, i could figure out some > steps and test, but this would take a lot of time and perhaps my steps are > not yours. So please: Reduce your reports to a time saving minimum, and > provide some steps: > > 1. ... > 2. ... > ... > > Kind regards > Dieter Dieter, the attached file is a playground and it has an example under the headline "Some screenshots demonstrating what goes wrong". 1. load the attached example https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=179856 2. enable the Navigator in LO Writer 3. select "H Headlines" in Navigator's selection box at the top left 4. in the edit window mark the word "End of June 2021" after the headline "Preceding events in a table" Observed result in the Navigator: "Table 1" under "Tables" is highlighted in the Navigator. Expected result: "Preceding events in a table" is highlighted under Headlines, since "H Headlines" is selected in the uppermost selection box. On page 9 of my report, it shows screenshots of a similar inconsistency in conjunction with sections. Probably it is the same bug and the remedy to cure the first example will also fix it. Conclusion The current editing position in the editing window shall always be reflected in the Navigator window with respect to the category selected in the navigator's drop-down list of categories at the top left of it (Step 3 above).. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
