Bug ID: 149155
Summary: Restore Down doesn't barely shrinks the window.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.2.5.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
In M.S. Word if I close or exit a text document when it is shrunken to smaller
size (not minimized), the next time I open the document it opens at the same
shrunken size. LibreOffice doesn't do this. L/O opens the document at full
size. Clicking "Restore down" in the upper right corner shrinks the window to
about 9/10 of the original. I have to grab the borders and shrink the window -
every time - if I want to get it smaller. I wish L/O did it the same way Word
does, keep the size the way I left it when I saved the file and open it the
next time "shrunken" the way I left it.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the file
2. Restore Down
3. Adjust the window to any size less than half
4. Close or save the file.
5. Exit L/O
6. Start L/O Writer again
7. Open the file. If it's full size, click "Restore down."
Actual Results:
described above. Restore down reverts to almost full size window
Expected Results:
I expected restore Down to use the same size settings I used the last time.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
Please see above.
