Hi Nazen, thanks for reporting this issue.

According to the Help page (see [1]) the statistic "Characters" is defined as
"Number of characters, including spaces, in the file. Non-printable characters
are not included." Hence multiple blank spaces are counted as characters, which
is something that happens a lot in your example.

The procedure you mentioned "The number of characters is the number of
characters without space plus the number of words minus 1" is not the procedure
used by LibreOffice.
