            Bug ID: 149478
Summary: Separate Default Page Size from Language Locale
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.2.4.1 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Currently the default page size for Write of either Letter or A4 is hidden
within the Language Local setting. Other settings like currency, default
measurement unites, date format, etc. have been clearly broken out and can be
set separately from the Language Locale easily. Default Page Size has not. As
an International American in principal I want my Locale settings to default to
many of the default American settings, but I must work with International firms
and standards which means I must print to A4 paper, not Letter. If this setting
was broken out like the other settings it would be much more obvious and easier
to customize according International standards, without having to reset all the
other default Locale settings like currency, etc. that I don't want set to the
defaults of English (Canada/British/SouthAfrica/etc.).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install LibreOffice with Defaults
2. Open new Write document (page will be automatically set for Letter size)
3. Open menu Tools -> Options
4. Expand "Language Settings" in options tree
5. Select "Languages"
6. Under "Formats" there is no option to set default page size nor is there any
indication as to how to change default page size.
7. Change "Locale setting" to another English language (e.g.
Canada/British/South Africa, etc.
8. Default page size has now been set to A4 but there is no way to see it.
9. Default currency, date formats, etc. have also been changed. So now I have
to reset all the other settings that I want to be American

Actual Results:
There is no way in Options to set default page size to A4 without changing all
the other defaults related to Locale (e.g. units of measurement, dates,
currency, etc.). So if I NEED to use A4 as my default I have to reset all the
other defaults that I want to remain American.

Expected Results:
An option in Formats for default page size that allows me to choose A4 as my
default page size even if I am using the English (USA) locale.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
The entire rest of the world is using A4 paper. ONLY the USA uses Letter sized
paper. But the entire rest of the world frequently uses US Dollars to
communicate price information. Lets make this obvious for users to fix and not
buried where it can't even be changed.
