Combined screenshot showing the difference
Compare the tooltip appearance with and without '[x] Extended tip' checked at
Options->LibreOffice->General. The screenshot shows the effect on Windows. The
borders are heavier, and the padding is larger. In addition to the unnatural
appearance, it makes tooltips inconsistent within one application when some
controls show extended tooltips, and some show normal ones - like the Gallery
tooltips, that are normal even when Extended are selected.
