            Bug ID: 149512
Summary: Please implement intuitive way to move lines/rows
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

After 20 years of Open/LibreOffice, Calc is still missing a quick and intuitive
way to move multiple lines in a spreadsheet.

CTRL+V will overwrite instead of inserting, which gives especially new users a
headache.

In principle, "move" can be done with mouse drag&drop, but this becomes
impractical in large spreadsheets, especially when the move goes past a few
1000s of lines in between. On the other hand, "paste special" is very
unintuitive and also somewhat tedious. It can be done with macros, but macros
aren't an option for everyone. Besides, such basic functionality ought to be
present without needing to install macros.

Please implement into the context menu of a selected line an option, which
allows an easy and intuitive, one mouse click: "Paste lines from clipboard,
above selected line, without overwriting".
