Situation possibly leading to fault:
A writer document embedded a link to an external graphic. (The link was
uninentionally inserted by copying an image from a web site).
Symptoms:
extraodinary long loading time for the document (100% CPU on a single core).
Additionally X11 freezing up completely for several minutes, with no response
to GUI any events.
Removing the link ended the problem.
