Checked few times (starting from scratch - maybe you do have duplicate files
anyhow from earlier tries), no problems. test1.pdf was always saved, as it is
renamed to test1_bak.pdf in step 13.

BTW: Do you use default system dialogs or have Tools>General>Open/Save
dialogs>Use LibreOffice dialogs option enabled?
