Item 4 has nothing to do with automatic hyphenation. It discusses the hyphens
that are put between parts of compound adjectives *in normal cases* (not as
splitting inside a word to move its part to the next line), and discusses the
use of such adjectives without hyphenation inside titles. The hyphen in
"gender-neutral language" vs "Gender Neutral Language" is put manually, and -
as said - does not relate to auto-hyphenation feature.
