            Bug ID: 149845
Summary: autocorrect options: display info on mouse over
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.0.0 alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

hi,

there is this option among autocorrect options: "apply styles",

and I left it checked... assuming it is not a bad thing :)

anyway, I didn't know what that meant...
and I had to go google, search phrase, matches list overview, click, and read
the help page... down to where "apply styles" were placed...

............
SUGGESTION:

it would be great if a popup info appeared "on mouse over",
like in the toolbar icons' case, for example...

above "apply styles" it could be read: "Automatically apply a Heading 1-8 style
when a text starts with an uppercase letter and does not end with a period...
see more in the help page";
............

it would be great help, making the learning curve much steeper! :)

---- thank you for developing libreoffice ----
