This is true for non-buggy behavior. If a behavior is a long-standing bug, we
don't need strong arguments to fix it. In this case, it seems there is
agreement that the default behavior is a bug, and that the user expects
otherwise.

You know, I never would have guessed this in a million years... but this would
make for a separate bug I guess.
