I've now tried it with the forced Skia again and right now I couldn't reproduce the error on a quick test. I'll see it again tomorrow in active work on the document (it's still a draft); I have to go to bed now ;o) At this point, many thanks for your support. I'll report tomorrow if that helped. If it helps, Skia seems to say goodbye while working and the display that Skia is active is not necessarily true or only sometimes... I think... Good night at this point...
