I know this also involves a sense of racism whatsoever, so hereby I state I
also believe that we humans are equal, and in terms of software we should have
equal access to all... no discrimination... i.e. I'm no racist, and have no
racist intention within or behind what I'm saying.

I am kind of shocked to see Asian phonetic guide in MY Libreoffice Writer's
Format menu.
So I'd like to suggest to create a Chinese version sort of independently from
the original Western Libreoffice. Okay, perhaps it never has been Western
decidedly, and the project's developers, the Document Foundation believe that
no languages should be discriminated whatsoever...
BUT / AND:
if Western people have to share the menus with Asian people, the menu will not
be intuitive and functional enough for them.
In the styles window now we have Asian layout and Asian typography...
In the font tab (styles window) now we have Asian text font, as a 50/50%
option... (half of the space is useless, and the good original font selection
menu has been killed, we no longer can go through all fonts, seeing the lazy
fox text in real time. The dropdown even covers the demo text below.
I think the separation of sexes in toilets is NOT a bad practice, cause, you
know, each sex can have what they want more comfortably.
Having two televisions for a couple is not necessarily a good thing, but it
usually happens, even if only long after marriage. But having two Personal
Computers is a must for any two people.
I mean, why do the 1 billion Western people have to share their Libreoffice
applications with the 2.5 b Chinese people?
I mean, at one point or another splitting will happen...
cause the more of those 2.5 b people start using Libreoffice, the more their
needs will be reflected in the UI, and at one point this will render LO a
not-so-comfortable application for Westerns.
Chinese people usually come to the West, but we don't go to China.
Chinese people learn English, we don't learn Chinese. So, the shared
Libreoffice is perfect for them... but uncomfortable for us...
If we are talking about equality, they have their version already, while are
losing ours :) :)

Seriously, what I'm talking about is like demanding to have our Rule of the
Road, our plates and signs in our cities and by the side of our roads, here,
where we live, without an additional Chinese sign next to each...
In a world where everyone customizes their working tools on their PCs and other
devices, to their personal taste, it is a crazy thing to have to pick the
Western options from the menu... from among Western and Chinese options...
What I'm talking about is like the Gnome Calculator: different people can have
their own layout, scientists, programmers, shop assistants, accountants...
One core with several different interfaces... I'm aware that Libreoffice also
has a core...
I can imagine that it is not so easy to handle the increased complexity..
but it has to be done at one point...
Right now we can have Libreoffice without international languages...
this should be extended, perhaps, to international menu items...
