Bug ID: 150018
Summary: Cannot freeze rows AND columns at the same time
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.2.7.2 release
Hardware: Other
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
I've tried several workaround to be able to freeze rows AND columns at the same
time, as well as be able to edit them, and have met with failure. Attempting to
freeze a Row after freezing a column results in the initial freeze failing and
leaves nothing frozen as a result.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select Column C.
2. Right-Click on Column C Header.
3. Select Freeze Rows and Columns.
4. Should now be frozen UP TO Row B.
5. Select Row 4.
6. Right Click Row 4.
7. Select Freeze Rows and Columns.
8. Column freeze disables, and there is now no frozen area.
Actual Results:
The initial freeze fails, leaving nothing at all frozen.
Expected Results:
I expected for both Up To Column B AND Row 3 to be frozen simultaneously.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
Version: 7.2.7.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 8d71d29d553c0f7dcbfa38fbfda25ee34cce99a2
CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22000; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: CL
If I import files in xlsx format, they will maintain the frozen rows AND
columns unless I try to add or delete a row or column. Neither attempting to
add or delete a row or column results in any change. I am able to edit those
rows or columns which are ALREADY present in the xlsx file without losing the
frozen aspect of rows and columns.
